It’s been an interesting journey

Established in 1991, we’re proud of our long history serving the varied needs of our customers on both sides of the border. Our beginnings in the transportation of oversize and overweight shipments have expanded to a full range of LTL and Truckload services.

Unique to HTS, is our close relationship with our long standing clientele. Founder, John Flaherty explains, “Our customers treat us like part of the family. We know them by the sound of their voice and our customer service team knows their shipping patterns and freight requirements like the back of their hand. It’s a relationship we cherish and plan to continue."

Other points that separate HTS from many logistics providers follow:

• Members of the NTBA (National Transportation Brokers Association)
• HTS conforms to Ontario’s new HTA broker trust account requirement for brokers and carriers
• In addition to the carriers’ cargo insurance policy, we have contingency carrier cargo insurance in place, as required
• HTS is registered with Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Board to ensure that our customers have further protection from liability
• Members of the National Transportation and Logistics Council
• As a requirement of our registration with the FMCSA we maintain the mandatory US$75,000 Surety Bond
